Matchday Archives started with 2 best friends united by their love for football and football shirts, they realised that the majority of football shirts today are either too expensive, too inaccessible or not authentic so they set out on a mission to provide other football fanatics with authentic football shirts at a competitive price in order to unite the world through the love of the beautiful game.

Each shirt that is sold by matchday archives is first checked and authenticated by one of our staff before being put on our website!

Each t-shirt is carefully inspected by our team and given a condition rating from 1 to 10, based on its overall appearance and level of wear. The following chart explains how we define each rating:

• 9 = Like new, no signs of use, Excellent Condition

• 8 = Minimal wear, very well maintained, Great Condition

• 7 = Light signs of wear, well cared for, Good Condition

• 6 = Noticeable wear, but still in solid shape, Fair Condition

• 5 = Visible wear or minor flaws present, Acceptable Condition

• <4 = Heavy wear, fading, or visible damage, Poor Condition / As-Is
  
  

Matchday Archives offers a 14 day window to return your product and get a refund, although to get your refund the product would need to be in the same condition as sold.

Washing a football shirt incorrectly can lead to it deteriorating in condition, but we want to avoid that as much as possible so were here to help!

The safest way of washing your football shirts is turning them inside out and handwashing them in warm water but you can also wash them in the washing machine without damaging the shirt, here’s how:

Turn the shirt inside out and put it in a washing bag if you have one and make sure to wash it on a lower temperature, 30 degrees is the highest you should go.
